Mariana Mazú
Mariana Mazú is a celebrated Argentine singer, nominated for the Latin Grammy and winner of the prestigious Gardel Award for Tango. Raised in a musical household, she absorbed the genre’s classics and later developed her own distinctive voice - gentle and airy yet filled with emotional depth.
Her father, a tango singer, passed on his passion for music from her earliest years, teaching her first tangos and leaving an indelible mark on her memory: “In my house, music was the best tool to say something. If my mom was angry, my dad would sing to her and she would instantly smile. If he needed to tell us something, he’d pick up the guitar and make up a song to communicate in a playful way.”
Mariana's style blends traditional tango, bolero, and vals, offering a fresh and powerful sound. Guided by the universal language of love, Mariana conveys a message that is human, sensitive, direct, and empathetic. This has allowed her to transcend borders, performing in Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, and beyond.
